1) The tools that i used were: magnet and the normal lasso tool and the wand tool. I used the wand tool to select the background and as well using the tolerance. Magnetic lasso tool was used to go around the edges of the fruit bowl. I used the eraser for the small parts left over.
2.)I found the wand more effective because with this you can use your tolerance and higlight more than what you expect.
3.)Expanding well when you select the area.. it expands the number pixels you have added from there.
Contract does the opposite of expanding , instead of expanding it decreases …. goes more into the picture.
Reathering adds a glow around the picture you have selected and the number of pixel you have added.
